Thanks and Safe Journey!!
Otuho community members met at Mr. and Mrs. Mario's home at Hampton park
suburb in south east Melbourne this Saturday to sadly say goodbye to Mr.
Tom Ohisa. Together with the family of Susan Icoro (wife to Ohisa) members in a farewell
party extended their regards to Icoro and Ohisa for such an exemplary
union. Tom will be traveling to Canada where he has been residing for
the last 5 years. Otuho community will miss his support. We wish him the
best for his future and will always be happy to have him back to
Melbourne! Mr. Albert Aliander encouraged Mr. Ohisa and others to come
over for weekends causing a laughter

Message from Chairman:
Happy new year. We are lucky to have been recipients of two grants from
VMC. Amounting to the total of $ 2000 AUD. 500 AUD was awarded in
support of Otuho cultural day and $ 1500 has been awarded in recognition
of Otuho language school. We shall be using these funds to meet
requirements for classroom hire and purchase of resources to aid with
teaching. Our request as the executive is for member support in our bid
to ensure progress in our community activities.

Otuho Language school has set a new record
registering high attendances and positive community participation since
its opening for 2010. Thanks to the school principal Mr. Albert Aliander
and teachers ( Mr. Abraham Arkadio, Mr. Solomon Oluke, Mr. Molong
Amanamoi, Mr. Ohide Andrew, Mr. Ojiok Edward, Mr. Alphonse Oyeck,and Mr.
Martin Liwa). Much appreciation to parents who care for the future of
their children. Lastly much thanks to Otuho executive members. To
mention we appreciate the work Mr. Morodiang has done for our community!!.Lets Keep up the spirit members us we strive for excellence.
